Let the no. be x

x+(50/3)=42
=)x=42-(50/3)
=)x=(126/3)-(50/3)
=)x=76/3 ANS

aaenterprise261: Is this a right answer
swapnaritam: yah
aaenterprise261: Okay

Answer:Let the number be x

then,

x+50/3=42

3x+50/3=42 (Taking LCM)

3x+50=3*42 ( Cross multiply)

3x+50=126

3x=126-50

x=76/3

x= 25.333
