Let the another number be X.
Number = 2/5 × ( X )
According to question,
( X ) + 2X /5 = 70
5X + 2X = 70 × 5
7X = 70 × 5
X = 70 × 5/7
X = 10 × 5 = 50
Number = X = 50
And,
Another number = 2/5 × X = 2/5 × 50 = 20
