Answer:

Given:

Unit digit = x

Tens digit =y

The number=10x+y --------(1)

Revising the number =10y+x ----------(2)

given difference of (1) and (2) is 36

=>10x+y-(10y+x)=36

=>10x+y-10y -x= 36

=>10x-x-10y-y=36

=> 9x-9y=36

=> x-y=4

therefore required eq is (x-y=4)

graph:

given equation: x-y=4

=> (-y)=4-x

=> y=(-4)+x

=> y= x-4

Any line that can be graphed by two points.

select two x value and plug them in to the equation you get corresponding Y value

let us take x= 1 and 2

substitute X values in the equation

let x=1 , then

=>y=1-4

=>y= -3

let x=2 ,then

=> y=2-4

=> y= -2

x | y

--------

1 | -3

2 | -2

Graph the line using the slope and the y-intercept, or the points.

Slope: 11

y-intercept: −4-4

x | y

--------

1 | -3

2 | -2
