• Let those numbers as : x, X + 6.

Sum of those numbers : X + X +6 = 24

• X +X + 6 = 24
• 2x + 6 = 24
• 2x = 24 - 6
• 2x= 18
• X = 18 ÷ 2
• x= 9

Those numbers :

• X , X+6
• X = 9 and X+6 = 9 + 6 = 15
