Hi Friend !!!
Here is ur answer !!!
let the number be y
second number = x
x+y = 155
y = 155-x
y + 7 = 5x
155-x+7 = 5x
162 = 6x
x = 162/6
x = 27
First number = y = 155-x = 155-27
= 128
Hope it helps u :-)

Let Second number be X.
First number = 5X - 7.
Sum of two numbers = 155
First number + Second number = 155
X + 5X - 7 = 155
6X = 162
X = 27.
Second number = X = 27
and,
First number = 5X - 7 = ( 5 × 27 -7 ) = 128.
First number = 5X - 7.
Sum of two numbers = 155
First number + Second number = 155
X + 5X - 7 = 155
6X = 162
X = 27.
Second number = X = 27
and,
First number = 5X - 7 = ( 5 × 27 -7 ) = 128.
