Let the smaller number be x.

Hence, bigger number will be x+9.

A.T.Q.

2x + 3(x+9) = 52

→ 2x + 3x + 27 = 52

→ 5x = 52-27

→ 5x = 25

→ x = 5

Therefore, Smaller number = 5
Greater number = 5+9 = 14

Let one number be x. Then the other number will be x + 9.

Given, Sum of twice the smaller the smaller number and 3 times the larger.

2(x) + 3(x+9) = 52

2x + 3x + 27 = 52

5x + 27 = 52

5x = 25

x = 5.

5 + 9 = 14.

The numbers are 5 and 14.
