total outcomes=1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
favorable outcomes=2,3,5,7
so,probability= 4/9

Favourable outcomes of getting a prime number = 4 { 2, 3, 5, 7 }

P(x) = Favourable outcomes/Total outcomes

P( getting a prime number ) = 4/9
