Hey,

let one part is x . The other part will be 10+x .

Given ratio.... x/10+x = 5/3

Solving it will give you , x= -25

So x+10 = -25+10 = -15

So the numbers are -25 and -10.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU

HAVE A GREAT DAY

Let first part be x.
Then 2nd part be {x+10}
ATQ
(x) : (x+10) = 5:3
On cross multiplication
3x = 5x + 50
-2x = 50
x = -25
