\textbf{\underline{\underline{According\:to\:the\:Question}}}

Assume one part of number = p

Other part of number = p + 10

★Situation :-

\tt{\rightarrow\dfrac{p+10}{p}=\dfrac{5}{3}}

3(p + 10) = 5p

3p + 30 = 5p

30 = 5p - 3p

30 = 2p

\tt{\rightarrow p=\dfrac{30}{2}}

p = 15

★One part of number = 15

★Other part is :-

= 15 + 10

=25

★Therefore number :-

= 15 + 25

= 40

To find :-

The number

According to the question,

The two parts are in the ratio of 5 : 3.

∴ (x + 10)/x = 5/3

=> 3(x + 10) = 5x

=> 3x + 30 = 5x

=> 2x = 30

=> x = 15

∴ One part of number = x = 15

& other part = x + 10 = 15 + 10 = 25

Hence,

the number = 15 + 25 = 40

∴ The number is 40 .
