let the number be N
    And its two parts be X and Y
Let X be the bigger number

Then , X-Y=15 ; Y : X = 3:4(X is bigger)

So, Y/3 = X/4
 let,Y/3 = X/4 = K

Then , Y= 3K,X = 4K

X-Y = 15 ,SO ,
        4K-3K=15
Hence , K = 15.

Y = 3*15 =45 ;X = 4 *15 = 60

N = X + Y = 105
hence , The number is 105 ; Its parts are  60,45.

Heya user
Here is your answer !!

________

Let the first part be x .
There fore , the second part will be -----> ( x + 15 )

the ratio given is = 3 : 4 .

So , acc. to the question ,
x / ( x + 15 ) = 3 / 4
=> 4x = 3x + 45
=> x = 45 .

so , x + 15 = 45 + 15 = 60 .

So , the two parts are 45 and 60 respectively .
So , the undivided number is = 60 + 45 = 105 . { Answer }
