Let the number be N 

    And its two parts be X and Y

Let X be the bigger number

Then , X-Y=15 ; Y : X = 3:4(X is bigger)

So, Y/3 = X/4

 let,Y/3 = X/4 = K

Then , Y= 3K,X = 4K

X-Y = 15 ,SO ,

        4K-3K=15

Hence , K = 15.

Y = 3*15 =45 ;X = 4 *15 = 60

N = X + Y = 105

hence , The number is 105 ; Its parts are  60,45.
