\textbf{Answer:}

Let the 1st part = x

Other part be = x+10

According to the question:

 \frac{x + 10}{x} = \frac{5}{3} \\ \\ = > 3(x + 10) = 5x \\ \\ = > 3x + 30 = 5x \\ \\ = > 30 = 5x - 3x \\ \\ = > 30 = 2x \\ \\ = > x = \frac{30}{2} = 15 \\ \\ = > x = 15

First part = 15

Second part = 15+10=25

Sum of two parts = 40

\textbf{Hope it helps you!}

X+10/x=5/3

3(x+10)=5x

3x+30=5x

30=5x-3x

30=2x

X=30/2=15

1 part=15

2 part=15+10

Number =40
