In the above Question ,

A number is divisible by ______ if its last digit is zero .

Solution -

A number is divisible by _5 and 10__ if its last digit is zero .

Additional information -

Proof that a number having it's last digit 0 is divisible by 5 and 10

Let the given number be -

Number - ABCDEF...

For simplicity , let me assume that it is a four digit number , ABCD

So, this can be expressed as -

1000A + 100B + 10C + D

=> 10³ A + 10² B + 10¹ C + D

=> 10 [ 10² A + 10B + C ] + D

The 10 [ 10² A + 10B + C ] part of the number is divisible by 5 as well as .

Now ,

For the entire number to be divisible by 5 as well as 10 ,

D needs to be divisible by 10 .

Now ,

D is 0

So , it is divisible by 10 { As 0 is divisible by any number }

Hence Proved .

Note -

This can be also proved using the process of Mathematical Induction .
