Let the number be 100.

Given that it's increased by 20%.

20% of 100 = 20/100 * 100

                    = 20.

Therefore 100 + 20 = 120.

Given that the number is decreased by 15%.

15% of 120 = 15/100 * 120

                   = 18.

120 - 18 = 102.

Therefore the decrease in number = 102 - 100

                                                           = 2.

Therefore the increase in percentage = 2%.

Hope this helps!

siddhartharao77: cost price of one shirt = 200

Marked price = 300

Profit = 30%.

We know that Selling price = cost price(100 + profit%)/100

= 200 * 130/100

= 260.

Discount offered = (300 - 260)

= 40.

Discount % = 40/300 * 100

= 13.3%

siddhartharao77: Given that length = 50cm, Breadth = 80cm, Height = 30cm.

We know that volume = l * b * h

= 50 * 80 * 30

= 120000.

Then the volume of the dimensions = 10 * 10 * 6

= 600.

The number of packets = 120000/600

= 200.
