Let the no be x
according to the question
x = 3/x + 26/3
x - 3/x = 26/3
x² - 3 = 26x /3
3 ( x² - 3) = 26x
3x² - 26x - 9 = 0

By using quadratic formula
x = 26 ± √ 676 - 4 (3) (-9) / 6
x = 26 ± √ 676 + 108 / 6
x = 26 ± √ 784 / 6
x = 26 ± 28 / 6

Now on taking + sign
x = 26+28/6 = 54/6 = 9
On taking - sign x = 26 - 28 /6 = -2/6 = -1/3

Hence the number is 9 or -1/3..

Hope it will be contented..
