100+ ( 15/100)× 100 =100+15= 115
then resulting number decreased by 25%,
115 - (( 25/100) ×115)
= 115- 28.75 =86.25
So from the initial value 100 it is decreased to a value of 86.25.
Amount of decrease = 100-86.25=13.75
so the percentage of decrease from initial value= (13.75/100)× 100 = 13.75 %
