Let a number be 100
20% increase=20/100×100=20
increased number = 100+20=120
Decreased by 20% = 20/100 ×120=24
decreased value=120-24=96
Original value (100)> final value (96)
Decrease = 100-96 =4
decrease %=4/100×100%=4%
