A number is increased by 20%. By what per cent the new number is decreased

20% of the number should be subtracted from that increased number to get the original number . Ex-

100 is a number , I add 20% of hundred with hundred it becomes 120 . Now , how much should I subtract to get the original number i.e 100 . So the answer is 20% , 20% of 100 = 20

=120-20 =100
