a number is increased by 20 percent and decreased by 20 percent.what is the net increased or decresed percentage​

-> Let 100 be the answer.

-> 20% of 100 = increased.

-> 100 + 20 = 120 = increased.

-> 20% is decreased.

-> 120-24 = 96 is the new number we got.

-> =100-96 = 4 is the net decreased.

Formula

Net decrease / Real number × 100

= 4/100 × 100

= 4 percentage.

Therefore , 4% is the answer.
