Case 1 :-

inCrement = 25% of x = 25/100 × x = 1/4 x

Case 2 :-

decrement = 20% of x

= 20/100 × x = 1/5 x

CHANGE –

(1/4 – 1/5)x = (5 – 4)/20 of x

= 1 / 20 times of 'x'
