A number is increased from 125 to 150; find the percentage increase. ​

first number = 125

second number = 150

difference between them = 150-125 = 25

so the increase Percentage

= % increase = Increase ÷ Original Number × 100

 =  \frac{25}{125}  \times 100  \\  =  \frac{25}{5}  \times 4 \\  = 5 \times 4 = 20\%

increase Percentage = 20%
