the multiples of 3 in 50 are
3,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30,33,36,39,42,45,48.

the multiples of 4 in 50 are
4,8,12,16,20,24,28,32,36,40

therefore,
p(getting multiple of 3and 4 are)=25/50

=1/2

sourishdgreat1: Total no. of possible outcomes = 50 {1, 2, 3 …. 50}

No. of favourable outcomes = 4 {12, 24, 36, 48}

P(E) = (No.of favorable outcomes)/(Total no.of possible outcomes)

P(E) = 4/50 = 2/25
