sample space = ( 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) n(s) =10

prime numbers=2,3,5,7 n(a)=4

so probability of getting an prime number is 4/10=2/5

even numbers =(2,4,6,8,10) n(b)= 5

so the probability of getting an even number is 5/10=1/2
