A number lies between 2000 and 2070and has 5 in its ones place. It is a prime or composite number?
Give reasons.

Answer:

there is no prime number between 2000 and 2070 which has 5 in its units place

because if any number that has 5 or 0  at ones place is always divisible by 5

and this goes against the definition of prime numbers which states prime numbers only have two factors 1 and the other one is the number itself!

so there are only composite numbers between 2000 and 2070 which has 5 at ones place!
