As given that , A Number Multiflied by 3 and Increased by 7 gives 40 . Hence ,

Let :

  • The Number be x .

According to the Question :-

\bf{3x+7=40}

3x = 40 - 7

3x = 33

x = 33/1

x = 11

Therefore , The Number (x) is 11 .
