a number of 3 digit has the hundred digit 4 times the unit digit and the sum of three digit is 14 if the three digits are written in the reverse order the value of the number is decreased by 594 find the number

Let the digit in units place be x. Then the digit in hundreds place is 4x. Now, sum of three digit is 14. When the no. is reversed it is (no. - 594) . If units place will be 3 then hundreds place will be 12. Therefore the no. in units place must be 1 or 2 to make no. in hundreds place 4 or 8 . Now,suppose the third digit be y. 2+y+8=14 10+y=14 y=14-10 =4 The number will be 842. Now,842 - 594 =248 5he no.is 842
