Zeroes are written in,

x=1 and x=-2

so...

(x - 1)(x + 2) = 0

x(x + 2) - 1(x + 2) = 0

 {x}^{2}  + 2x - x - 2 = 0

 {x}^{2}  + x - 2 = 0

Hope my answer will help you.
