Answer:

Let 10y+x be the two digit numbers

Given 10y+x=4(y+x)

⇒10y+x=4y+4x

⇒10y−4y=4x−x

6y=3x

⇒x=

3

6

y

⇒x=2y ___________ (1)

and also. 10y+x=3yx

⇒10y+2y=3y(2y) [from (1)]

⇒12y=6y

2

⇒12=6y

⇒y=2 from (1),

x=2(2)=4

Hence the required numbers = 10(2)+4=20+4=24

Step-by-step explanation:

here,

let the once be x and tens be y

ie x +10y

A. T. Q

x+10y = 4(x+y)

or, x+10y =4x +4y

6y =3x

x = 2y .......1

the product of the digits is 8

x. y = 8

or, 2y.y =8

or, y^2=4

or, y =2

now, y value put in (1)

x = 2.2

so, x= 4

thus,

x+10y = 4+10.2=4+20 =24

and

10x+y = 10.4 +2 =40+2 =42

so,the number be 24 or 43
