The number is equal to "-13".

Step-by-step explanation:

Let number = x

To find, the number = ?

According to question,

Number + A number plus itself + plus twice itself + plus 4 times itself = -107

x + x + 2x + 4x = - 104

⇒ 8x = - 108

x=-\frac{104}{8} =-13

∴ Number = - 13

Hence, the number is equal to -13.
