We know that,

  • When rounding to the nearest hundred, look at the tens digit of the number.
  • If that digit is 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4, you will round down to the previous hundred. { The hundreds digit does not change.}
  • If that digit is 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, you will round up to the next hundred. { The hundreds digit increases by one.}
  • All rest digits changes into 0.

So,

→ Nearest rounded of a number result is = 9200 .

then,

→ Largest possible number = Have largest tens digit number can be 4 and unit digits can be 9 .

therefore,

→ Largest possible number = 9249 (Ans.)
