The correct answer is the remainder is 0 when that number is divided by 35.

  • It has to be a multiple of 7, 14, 21, and 28 are the multiples of 7 as a result, every second multiple leftover after 14 will equal 0. Thus, the remainder for other multiples will always be 7.
  • It has to be a multiple of 5, 10, 15, and 20 are the multiples of 5 as a result, every second multiple leftover after 10 will equal 0. Thus, the remainder for other multiples will always be 5.
  • LCM of 5 and 7 is 35 thus the remainder will be 0 since the number is multiple of 5 and 7.
