Let P be the number

Given that

P ÷ 4 = Q, remainder = 1

Q ÷ 5 = 1, remainder = 4

Hence Q = 1 × 5 + 4 = 9

P = 4Q + 1 = (4 × 9) + 1 = 36 + 1 = 37

Now we will divide 37 successively by 5 and 4
