Prime numbers are numbers that have only 2 factors i.e., 1 and the number itself.

These numbers cannot be divisible by any another number instead for 1 and the number itself.

No even numbers except 2 is prime number.

Only odd numbers can be prime number.

This is because all even number are divisible by 2.

Hence these are not prime.

As 2 is the factor of every even number so only some odd numbers are prime numbers.

For Example:-

⠀⠀⠀⠀

  1. 2
  2. 3
  3. 5
  4. 7
  5. 11
  6. 13
  7. 17
  8. 19

Etc.

Hope it was helpful...

Thanks for asking...
