n(S) = 16

Product less than 16 ={1*1, 1*4, 1*9, 2*1, 2*4, 3*1, 3*4, 4*1}

n(Product less than 16) = 8

P( Product less than 16 )

= n(Product less than 16)/n(S)

= 8/16

= 1/2
