A nursery has 12% mango trees , 18% lemon trees and rest are orange trees. If there are 1400 orange trees, find the total number of trees in the nursery.

Given that : There are 12% mango trees , 18% lemon trees and rest are orange trees.

Percentage of orange trees = 100–(12+18) = 100–30 = 70%

Also given that : The number of orange trees = 1400

Then, According to the question :

Total number of trees :

 \frac{1400 \times 100}{70}  \\  \\  =  > 2000

So, there are total 2000 trees in the nursery.
