A nutritionist blog suggests to increase the recommended daily intake of Zinc because of its beneficial effects on the immune system. The suggestion is to consume about 1% of your body weight as Zinc per day. Would this be a good or bad thing? Why?
A.Good; Having more Zinc in the immune system would keep people from getting sick as often meaning fewer people in hospitals.
B.Good; By increasing the amount of Zinc people want we will be able to eliminate the stock of US pennies which contain lots of zinc but are worth far less than 1 cent.
C.Bad; Consuming more Zinc would increase the functions of the immune system which would cause more autoimmune disorders.
D.Bad; Zinc makes up less than 0.01% of body weight and would likely have toxicity at anything higher than very small amounts.

I think option d will be correct as Zn is a microelement so taking much higher concentration can cause toxicity
