A object can have zero average velocity but not zero average speed .why?

Answer:

Velocity can be converted to 0 because valence electrons can have o electron in that shell but speed can not be zero because speed can not be converted into 0 .If it will be converted then all objects would lose their speed

Displacement can be zero and when it is, average velocity becomes zero.
