A object goes from point X to Y and
then come back from Y to X. What is the
distance , displacement and average velocity
in this case.

Displacement is Zero because initial and final position are same

Average Velocity= Displacement/Time

Here, Displacement is zero and eventually any number divided by zero gives us zero as the answer.

Therefore, Average Velocity= 0

Thus,

Displacement= 0

Average Velocity= 0
