Answer:

Wieght on earth = 600N

Weight = Mass × Acceleration due to Gravity

So, Mass on Earth = Weight on earth ÷ Acceleration due to gravity

gravitational acceleration (field strength) on the Earth surface = 9.8 N/kg

Mass on earth = 600÷ 9.8 = 61.22kg

Mass is a absolute quantity. It is independent of gravity. So mass of an object on moon is always equal to mass of an object on earth.

Mass on moon = 61.22kg

Note -

Remember one thing. mass of object is same on moon and earth but weight will not be same.

Weight of object on moon will be 1/6 th as on earth. Because gravity of moon is 1/6 th as of earth.
