A object is hung with the help of a rope. if the rope is lifted upwards in 2 metre per second square acceleration, the tension of the rope is half of its unbearable weight. if the object is lifted upwards with the help of rope, will the rope break ?​

If a rope of lift breaks suddenly the tension exerted by the surface of lift is

= 0

the lift and the rope will no more be in contact with each other so there cannot be the existence of tension between them

hence the tension will be zero

Thus the rope will break
