Answer :

Circumference of the circle = Distance travelled in a circular path.

So, We are given with the Radius of the circular path, that is, r = 14 unit.

So, Circumference of the circular path = 2πr = 2*22/7*14 = 4*22 = 88 unit.

Hence, The Total distance travelled by the body = 88 unit.

As, the body completes one whole round, the Initial position and the final position of the body is same.

So, the Displacement = 0 m/s.

Hence, The Displacement of the body = 0 m/s.

  • Distance is the tital length of the path travelled by the body.

  • Displacement is the shortest distance between the initial position and the final position of the body.

  • Distance is equal to or greater than the displacement.

  • Distance is a scalar quantity whereas displacement is a vector quantity.
