Many animals in tropical rainforests are adapted to living on trees. Trees give them shelter, hiding places from predators and also supply them with food. Monkeys use their hands and feet, and also their tails to swing from branch to branch. The red-eyed tree frog lives on trees and has sticky pads on its feet that help them to climb trees. The lion-tailed macaque also called 'beard ape' is a good climber. It mainly eats fruits as well as other parts of plant. The toucan uses its long and large bill to reach on weak branches. Several animals have a skin colour that camouflages them with the background
