A) Chemical equation is balanced keeping in mind the law of conservation of mass which states that mass of the reactants and that of the products remains the same.
B) Photosynthesis is an endothermic reaction because during photosynthesis, energy is absorbed by the plants in form of sunlight.

chemical equations are balanced on the basis of law of conservation of mass which states that the mass of reactants is always equal to mass of products i.e. mass can neither be created nor be destroyed.
photosynthesis is considered as an endothermic process because during photosynthesis plants absorb sunlight ( form of heat ) and use this light energy to form chemical energy (food) . hence we can say that photosynthesis is an endothermic process .
