(a) The opening of the stem through which the transpotation occurs is called stomata.

EXPLANATION:

Breathing is important for plants. The intake of 'carbon di oxide' is very vital for plants to live. This process is done through small pores in leaves which is called as stomata.

(b) The process by which the entire plant looses water in form of droplets is called guttation.

EXPLANATION:

Guttation process occurs when the plant roots absorb water from the soil. This in turn, gives some sort of pressure inside a plant. This pressure force the water out through "hydathodes".
