Tap water conducts electricity whereas distilled water does not.

Answer:

(1) Distilled water means pure water.

Distilled water has no ions present. Ions are responsible for the conduct of electricity. Therefore tap water which is not that pure conducts electricity

(2) We will only be abled to know whether a solution is acid or base in its aqueous solution.

Aqueous solution means their will be moisture or presence of water. Therefore dry hydrogen chloride does not the colour of litmus.

A dilute solution is made by adding small amount of water. Therefore dilute hydrochloric acid chances the colour of litmus paper.

(3) That is done so that the milk will not be spooled . During summers pure milk will be spoiled after few hours.

(4) If water is added into acid it faces explosions. Therefore always acid is added into water.
