Height of cuboid box (h) = 50cm

Total surface area of cuboidal box =2(lb+bh+hl)

=2(60×40+40×50+50×60)

=2(2400+2000+3000)

=2×7400

CUBOID:

l = 9 cm

b = 8 cm

h = 3 cm

Volume of cuboid = l x b x h  = 9 x 8 x 3  = 216

Thus, both cube and cuboid will require the same amount of wood to make.
