Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam probably known as APJ Abdul Kalam was an Indian scientist who was born on 15 October 1931. APJ Abdul Kalam was born in Rameshwaram which is in Tamilnadu and he has done all his graduation and studies in Tamilnadu. As Abdul Kalam was a scientist he was also the 11th President of India from the year 2002 to 2007.

He was one of the most respected people in the country and who has also contributed to the country as a scientist as well as a president. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam has completed his graduation from the college of Tiruchirapalli named St Joseph’s College in the year of 1954 and after that, he completed his aerospace engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology from Chennai in the year 1960. He was a great aerospace engineer who played a vital role in India’s Pokhran nuclear test.

Kalam was born in a Muslim family and when he was born he has to been in a poor at a very early age so because of this he sold newspapers for the family income. He was a great scientist and joined the Aeronautical Development establishment of Defence research and development organization and had a great name of Abdul Kalam at that time in research centers and because of his hard work and Research as he was transferred to the Indian Space Research Organisation where he used to work for India’s first satellite launch. In his personal family life as he was the youngest of the five siblings he used to work very hard and because of this he would never get time for his relations and remains a lifelong bachelor.

His death.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam died on the 27th of July in the year of 2015 at Shillong in India. Kalam for his works had received many awards from not only India but also from other countries. He has received 7 honorary doctorates from about 40 universities. He has also been honored with the Padma Bhushan Award in the year of 1981 by the government of India and he also got the Padma Bhushan in the year of 1990 by the government of India for his work with the DRDO and ISRO as the scientific advisor to the government.
