Answer :-
"p-n junction stabilizes electrons – hole pairs by separating them across the junction " could be a truth.
Explanation :
- PN junction is created by change of integrity P type and N type semiconductors to realize the sensible utility of each. Here In P type free holes area unit charged and free electrons in N type area unit negative charged.
- When a PN Junction is created electrons from N type moves to P .and Holes close to the junction jump from P to N this method creates a district referred to as as area charge region wherever electrons are going to be in P region and holes are going to be in N region.Movement of some electrons from P to N within the area region and a few holes draw back from N to P within the area region until equilibrium is earned that constitutes diffusion current.
- By ever-changing the external applied voltage , junction are often modified . In forward Bias[ N side is connected to negative terminal of battery and P kind to positive terminal., the scale of barrier[space charge region] is weakened and in reverse bias the barrier size will increase which ends up in additional current [mA] in forward bias whereas terribly little current[μA] in reverse bias.

A pn junction is formed when a p type and an n type semiconductors are joined metallurgically. The interface between them is known as pn junction diode. When the two blocks are joined there takes place a large concentration gradient. Electrons diffuse from n type to p type and holes from n to p. There are recombination occuring which leave a fixed number of negative ions on p side and positive ions on n side. Thus in this way it stabilizes an electron hole pair
