Mark six points in a straight line, to represent the people sitting in the row.

Let S and Z sit at positions numbered 3 and 4. S can be at position number 3 or 4 and the same is true for Z.

Make A and P sit at the ends or extremes of the row.

Now, if you seat A at the left end, you cannot place R at the left of A. so, A will sit at the right end and P will sit at the left end.

The position number 2 is left and only one person is left, that is X. So X will sit at position 2.

So, the order for seating from left to right becomes

P, X, S, Z, R, A or

P,X, Z, S, R, A.

It is clear from the above order that X is sitting to the right of P.

X is sitting to the right of P. This is the only possible solution to this question since it is said that S and Z are at the centre with A, P at the ends.

As R is sitting to the left of A, the position left of P is only available for X. Thus, from left, the sitting arrangement is PXSZRA.
