A pack contains 4 yellow, 2 green and 5 Blue Balls .A ball is drawn without looking at it find the probability that the ball is
a) Not green
b) Both yellow and green​

Total number of balls = 4 + 2 + 5 Balls = 11 Balls

Now,

a) P( getting a ball not green ) = \frac{number of favourable outcomes}{total no. of outcomes}=\frac{9}{11}

b) P(getting both yellow and green ball) = \frac{No. of the favourable outcomes }{Total outcomes}=\frac{6}{11}

probability=number of favourable outcomes/total number of outcomes

(a) number of favourable outcomes=4+5=9

total number of outcomes=4+5+2=11

probability=9/11

(b) number of favourable outcomes=4+2=6

total number of outcomes=11

probability=6/11
